1.Using your notes from your reading, summarize what is happening in your story using 2 examples from your book. Include at least 2.one connection and 3.one inference that you made while reading. Keep in mind the previous feedback that you've received so that you don't make the same errors.
So far the summary of The Book Thief By Markus Suzak, is about Liesel's foster family the Hubberman's taking in Max, a Jew. While Max is in coma from freezing up in the basement, Liesel provides him with gift's. Gift's that she stole and found. Liesel and her best friend Rudy Steiner, stole books from the mayor's house. The book was one of the gifts she gave Max. She would read it to him, hoping, he wake up. She read it with such a clear voice and gentle touch, her lips synced into her words in such a precise matter. This is shown on Pgs 323 through 324. I have given gift's too. I gave my Mom a worthless note saying I love you and happy mothers day, I made because I didn't had money like Liesel. An inference I made while reading was that when on pg 363 Rudy dropped to his knees for being tired from all the track events he had done, I infered that he was going to die, not literaly but need to have emergency help because he ran 4 events where he he gave it his all, it's tough running alot. I've been in track too and it's hard two events with out going all out, imagine running 4.

10.22.10 Week 1
Once someone has asked you a question form the Levels of Questioning, answer it fully, in complete sentences with correct punctuation and examples to defend/support your thinking. You need two examples, one from your text (a quote) and a real world example (connection you have )
Question asked by Fernando: How would you feel if you were in that situation.
In Number The Stars By Lois Lowry, Annemarie Johansen, also know as cat, and the rest of her family who included papa, mama, and her younger sister made a huge sacrifice. The Johansen's being great friends to the Rosen's who were Jew's, took in Ellen as if she were Lise. Lise was the older sister of Annemarie who died in a car accident a few years back. They did this because the Nazi party where relocating the Jew's and killing them. One night two Nazi soldiers came to pay a visit to the Johansen's because they assumed that they were hiding the Rosen's. They thought this because word on the street was, they are very good friend's.(43-44) When the Nazi's came Ellen had black hair witch was an odd characteristic for a German. The Nazi's would look at Ellen trying to find something wrong. At that time I would have felt very hopeless. My heart would have rose up as if it where to pop out and I would start to sweat because I would be terrified. This reminds me of the time when I was afraid and in deep trouble by my mom for breaking her vase. I would also be feeling proud of myself if I were her, because she had the guts to do what she did. I know I would feel proud because one time I took care of Adian which was a big risk, his mom would have killed me. If it were me, I would have needed lot's of foster to help me over come the stress, Annemarie, her family, and Ellen passed through.
